Mr. Baldev, RASUK Film Director
At first I thought they were amateurs when they stepped on my set, but when it was time to work and when I saw the results, “I came to know that I was dealing with individuals who know what they were doing and they know how to work with professionals.”
The sounds that they picked up during the production at the different locations were amazing; the live sound they captured would give the movie a real feel as the reality of the sound can be felt.
Of course, I think the SAE Students have made me proud, it also made me realize that there are excellent sound engineers around. I would also like to thank them because they have given me the soul of my film “Rasuk”.
My advice to SAE Students is that they should be outgoing and take up every opportunity to work in this field to gain experience before they graduate. Like how these two engineering (students) did for my film “Rasuk”.

Sha Kok Weng
Through my time working in this film production, I was able to experience film production in the industry, and also I have gained valuable exposure to the industry. I am really grateful for the opportunity given to me by this production company, and also to SAE for giving me the opportunity.
I hope that other SAE students may be involved with this kind of activities in the future. I believe it will give them much valuable experience which will benefit them as they go into the workplace.

Wong Wee Hin
This was my first involvement in the film production with a senior director from the industry Mr Baldev. SAE Institute Malaysia and Mr. Baldev gave me the opportunity to learn and experience film production in the industry.
Besides being a location sound engineer for this production, I also picked up valuable information and so called “tips” from other departments as they were willing to share with us their expertise as well, like the camera department; they educated us on the RED ONE digital camera technology through the shoot.
We felt very comfortable working on the film production as we were able to relate to both divisions of the production the film division and the audio division.
I remember Mr. Baldive saying during the production “we are like a family for 18 days in this production”. To sum it all up I would say that it was enjoyable but at the same time very useful. I will be looking forward to explore and venture in-depth into the film industry in future.
